Wile, a U.S. Army photographer, visited the Buchenwald concentration camp shortly after it was liberated in 1945. This exhibit is based on the oral history interview and photographs that he donated to the&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/webarchives.cdlib.org\/sw1m902z9c\/http:\/\/sage.library.emory.edu\/collection-0608.html\" target=\"_blank\">Fred Roberts Crawford Witness to the Holocaust Project<\/a>&nbsp;in 1978 and 1981. It was created as part of the&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/webarchives.cdlib.org\/sw1m902z9c\/http:\/\/sage.library.emory.edu\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">Selected Archives at Georgia Tech and Emory<\/a>&nbsp;(SAGE) digital archive project.<\/p>\r\n<blockquote>\r\n<div style=\"font-size: large;\"><em>\"A picture is very descriptive, but there is a lot left out.
